कोही ... मेरो फिल्मको समीक्षा / समालोचना आउन थालेको छ . अहिले सम्मा सबै रीव्यु नराम्रै छन . सबैले फिल्मको कथा नै नराम्रो छ भनेका छन .
Kohi... Mero premiered yesterday. I inadvertently spent the entire day outside the box-office at Jai Nepal: I was waiting for a friend, it was raining, he was waiting for somebody else not very far from the theater, etc. I was also keeping an eye on the ticket sales by checking how many seats had sold in each section.
I met Akhtar Husain, a semi-precious stones and jewelry seller from Ajmer, Rajasthan. He foisted a ring unto me and made my wallet lighter by NRs 560, and will be coming to Jai Nepal at 6 PM today to sell me a Pukhraj, which is a yellow stone [yellow sapphire]: basically, a piece of silicon crystal latticed with a metal oxide. He says I'll have to pay some 3.5K for it. Why? I don't know. But it is Ramdan, a month when Muslims are supposed to do good, and expect Allah to be generous to them.
Hmm Himalayan Times and Republicas reviews were mixed but kinda positive I guess the story has been blamed as the most weak structure for the film. I shall see and decide myself however Im sure ill love it - i even thought Priyanka Chopra's Love Story 2050 was the best movie for a few months when I had that Priyanka fever. Still, well done for doing something original. Things can be learnt along the way. Hey! Bollywood films have such predictable stories too but it becomes WOW for the audience,
ReplyDeleteLex, The story was pretty good in the first half, it was actually verry good even by bollywood standards(I covered my face coz I was ashamed for the actors, it was THAT good) but the second half pretty much gave up the pretext of story, so that is about it... If you are not cynical, you would like the film though... At these rate, we'll be competing with bollywood in 10 yrs, coz Ive seen Bollywood movies with 1000 times the budget and thousand times the glamour of starcast having worse stories(Kites come to mind, before everything else)
